Well Greg, I was traveling through the Texas panhandle one day and just happened to have that eBay T-handle with me that was too short. As I was motoring along, I just happened to be driving past a machine shop, and the idea suddenly hit me. I slammed on the brakes and then with part in hand, went inside. A few days later I went back, and came out with this:
Yeehah!
During my Toronado's next trip to the service shop, the new T-handle was installed. It works perfectly, but stuck out like a sore thumb, so I coated the handle with black Plasti Dip:
